Our Story
Taylor and Kati began their journey back in 2013 at Bijin Salon and Spa in Kansas City. From that moment they became the best of friends and it was the beginning of a partnership that would span long into their careers. Taylor and Kati credit much of their success to having each other’s opinion and differing perspectives saying, “We couldn’t do what we do without each other.” They are most known for their flawless work with hair color and participating in the North American Trend Vision Hair awards. Their most recent accomplishment is opening Too Babe Salon in May 2020.
They wanted to create a space where the client experience is always the highest priority, saying “Customer service is number one to us. We take pride in making sure every client who walks into Too Babe feels comfortable; everyone is treated like an A-list celebrity.” With tons of support from clients, the salon was able to withstand the crazy year of 2020. Taylor and Kati hold it as a high priority to keep the salon updated and the staff inspired. They consider those factors to be important in the daily functioning and success of the salon. Even though Taylor and Kati have different ideas for the salon from time to time, they both share a common goal for Too Babe. The mission of Too Babe is to keep a creative, talented, caring staff to ensure an excellent salon service and experience for all clients. “Too Babe is our home away from home. We hope to make it yours too.”
